Amy Sheppard has released her single Overthinking, the first to be lifted from her upcoming debut full-length album.

“Overthinking is my biggest and boldest single to date; it’s country but with a big serve of pop-rock swirled in the mix. I continue to be inspired by my music heroes, The Chicks, Taylor Swift, Shania, Maren Morris, and I wanted to write a song that was equal parts heartbreak and belt out in the car with your friends.”

In the first 18 months of her solo country music career, Amy released hit singles Nothing But Wild, Blue Guitar, and Couple Goals and was the most played Australian female artist on country radio in 2022–23.

Following the success of her first release, Amy has once again teamed up with powerhouse songwriters, Lindsay Rimes and Phil Barton, with Rimes producing the track in Nashville.
