Bones, rising star in pop–country, Caitlyn Shadbolt’s first single, is the follow up release to her debut album, Songs on my Sleeve.
Bones was produced by Andy Mak who has worked with Vera Blue and The McClymonts.
Lauded as “one to watch”, Caitlyn says, “Bones is about chasing the dream. It’s a song about persistence, passion and trusting your gut instinct. There are always so many hurdles that come with dreaming big, but when you love something enough, you'll do it regardless. It couldn't speak more truth for me.”
“I wrote Bones with Dylan Nash. It was my first time writing with him. Something just clicked ... I think I really needed to get this one out of my system! I’ve written a lot of songs since, but this one makes the most sense to me. It’s been a while between drinks, so I wanted to say something really genuine and appropriate to where I’m sitting in life at the moment ... I think Bones sums it up perfectly."
