Happier Now was written by Kell and recorded, mixed and produced by Adrian Hannan at the Song Store in Melbourne. It is a reflection about working hard towards something and having to overcome all those curve balls that life throws at you along the way.
Kell is a dynamic rock and country rock singer–songwriter from Lithgow near the Blue Mountains in NSW. With a blend of influences including Melissa Etheridge, Chrissie Amplett, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Dolly Parton, Mellencamp and Jimmy Barnes, it is easy to see why Kell covers the alt-rock country genre so well.
Kell appeals to all ages and has consistently performed both cover and original music at venues throughout the Central West, Blue Mountains, and western and southern Sydney. She recently wowed the audience with her powerful performance when she opened for Little River Band’s original vocalist Glen Shorrock in Dubbo.
Kell’s versatility, individuality, range, and touches on her roots and passion, are evident in her first release, an alt-country rock song, Coming Home, and her last single, Silvia, an edgier rock song, also penned by Kell and recorded, produced and mastered by Adrian Hannan at The Songstore in Melbourne.
