Old Gympie Road is the latest single lifted from Linc Phelps’s new album, Faith & Sweat, a true story about the region where he grew up, and still lives with his family.

“Gavin Carfoot and I were reflecting on our childhoods travelling the Bruce Highway in Queensland. My hometown of Gympie has just been bypassed and we wonder what will become of the Old Gympie Road,” says Linc.

Linc is one of those salt of the earth people who is known far and wide in the tight knit Australian country music industry as a good bloke, great performer and singer and all-round legend. He proudly wears his heart on his sleeve both in life and via song.
